CASA VELHA DINING ROOM
Where better to experience the intimate pleasure of a candlelit dinner than in the privacy of the elegant dining room. Surrounded by the renowned gardens of this unique estate, savour the delights of fine cuisine, expertly prepared and presented.
Be it fresh Scottish salmon, or wild mushrooms from France, every effort is made to ensure your pleasure. The select menu, influenced by a Mediterranean palate and spiced with hints of the Orient, will suprise and delight you.
Guests at the Casa Velha may enjoy a wide variety of menus. As well as the superb À La Carte menu, we have a Daily menu, a Light Meal menu and our Gourmet menu. The Light Meal menu is also available as the room service / lunch menu. This menu may be served in the Bar, in the Morning Room or in the privacy of your room. The Gourmet menu is a seven-course taste experience, is prepared per table, and includes four accompanying Portuguese wines.
PALHEIRO CLUBHOUSE RESTAURANT
The Casa Velha's Bistro restaurant is situated circa 500 metres from the Casa Velha do Palheiro, in the Palheiro Golf Clubhouse. The ideal place for a light meal during the day or an early dinner, the panoramic terrace offers some of the most breathtaking views in Madeira, overlooking the bay of Funchal
THE TEA HOUSE - CASA DE CHÁ (opening October 2003)
Located within the Palheiro Gardens, on the perimeter of both Palheiro Golf and Casa Velha, the Tea House is able to provide wonderful homemade cakes, pastries and ice creams for the Garden visitors as well light snacks and refreshments for the energy burning golfers. Casa Velha guests have direct access from the hotel gardens.
